I’m a Santa Fe native with New England roots. So I say “aunt,” not “ant,” but “sprinkles,” instead of “jimmies.”

I currently live in Brooklyn, New York. 

You’ll usually find me running, thrift shopping (I’ve got a keen eye for potential and I love a good deal), snapping photos of my cat, or with my nose in a good book. Since COVID-19, I’ve become an amateur curry chef and the proud owner of a very organized sock drawer. 

When it comes to reading, I consume just about anything–books, magazines, news articles, print ads, newsletters, email subject lines, tweets, Instagram captions, newspapers, shampoo bottles, billboards, Snapple caps–except for the iTunes Terms of Service update, because nobody reads that.

I devour words because I’m obsessed (in a healthy way, obvi) with messaging. I’m always asking, “What’s the best way to say X?” and, “What reaction will this phrase inspire?”

Being a writer is my way of being a behavioral scientist, economist, therapist, and marketer.
